Choosing the Right Product
Q: Which products do you recommend for oily skin?
A: For oily or combination skin, choose long-wear, lightweight formulas. Good options from us are the SHEGLAM 12H Full Coverage Concealer and the SHEGLAM Waterproof Eyebrow Gel, both of which are long-lasting and smudge-resistant, along with our lightweight lip and cheek tints that feel light on the skin.
Q: Which foundation is best for dry skin?
A: The SHEGLAM Skinfinite Hydrating Foundation is a good choice for dry or normal skin, as it has a hydrating formula and a natural, skin-like finish.
Q: How do I pick the right concealer shade?
A: The SHEGLAM 12H Full Coverage Concealer comes in Light, Medium and Ivory. Choose the shade closest to your foundation or skin tone: Light for fair skin, Medium for medium skin tones, and Ivory as a neutral option.
Q: What is the difference between a lip tint and a lipstick?
A: A lip tint, such as our SHEGLAM For The Flush or Jelly-Licious tints, gives a lightweight, natural stain of colour and can often be used on both lips and cheeks. A lipstick, such as the Tanako Silky Touch set, gives fuller, more opaque colour and coverage.
Q: Do you have anything for makeup beginners or for practising?
A: Yes. Our Silicone Eye Makeup Practice Board lets you practise eyeliner, eyeshadow and lashes without using them on your face, which is ideal for beginners and for testing new looks.
Using Our Products
Q: How do I apply the SHEGLAM Jelly Wow Lip Oil?
A: Swipe the lip oil directly onto clean lips using the applicator. It gives a glossy, non-sticky shine and can be worn on its own or over lipstick. Reapply through the day as needed.
Q: How do I use Bremod Hair Color Cream at home?
A: Mix the Bremod Hair Color Cream with a suitable developer, apply it evenly from roots to ends, leave it on for 25 to 35 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For the brightest result, apply on pre-lightened hair. Always do a patch test 48 hours before use.
Q: Do I need a separate developer for the hair colour?
A: Yes. Bremod Hair Color Cream needs to be mixed with a developer (peroxide) to activate the colour. The developer is purchased separately.
Q: What do the numbers on the hair colour shades mean?
A: The number before the dot is the depth, or how light or dark the shade is, from 1 (darkest) up to 12 (lightest). The numbers after the dot are the tone, such as .0 natural, .1 ash, .3 gold, .6 red and .7 green. For example, 7.3 is a medium gold blond.
Q: How long does the Bremod hair colour last?
A: Bremod Hair Color Cream is a permanent cream colour. The colour lasts several weeks and fades gradually with washing, while regrowth at the roots usually begins to show after about 4 to 6 weeks.
Q: How should I store my makeup and lip products?
A: Keep your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, and close the caps tightly after use. This helps the colour and formula last longer.
